Two paths

Choose how Sentinelle gets its hardware

Both paths lead to the same platform, the same features, and the same engineering process. The only difference is where the machine comes from.

Your hardware
Already own a machine that's a good fit — a compatible mini PC, NUC, or small server? We can deploy Sentinelle onto it after a short compatibility check during your Audit & Design session. No new hardware purchase, and no markup on equipment you already own.
  • Enough processing headroom for the number of cameras and the detection workload you need
  • Enough storage for the recording retention window you want
  • A wired network connection
  • A suitable place to keep it running continuously
Sentinelle Appliance
Prefer not to source or size hardware yourself? We supply a compact mini-server, pre-sized for your chosen tier and pre-loaded with the Sentinelle installer — delivered ready to connect.
  • Sized to your tier during the Audit & Design session
  • Delivered configured for your network
  • Backed by the same commissioning and documentation as any Sentinelle project
From bare machine to running platform

What "automated deployment" actually means

Whichever hardware path you choose, the base installation isn't a manual, line-by-line setup.

  1. BootThe machine starts from the Sentinelle installer (USB) — whether it's your own hardware or the Appliance before it ships.
  2. InstallThe base platform installs itself: operating system, Sentinelle services, and the security-hardening baseline.
  3. ConnectThe machine joins your network and pulls the configuration prepared during your Audit & Design session.
  4. Configure & commissionYour cameras, automations and access are wired in, tested, and documented as part of the standard Sentinelle process.

What this means for you: for supported hardware, nobody assembles a system component by component. Booting the installer is the starting gun — the base platform is already running by the time the engineering team begins configuration.

What "suitable hardware" means

We check compatibility before you commit

Rather than publish a hardware spec sheet that goes stale the moment a new mini PC ships, compatibility is confirmed against your actual machine during the Audit & Design session — not guessed from a checklist.

Processing headroom
Enough CPU/GPU capacity for the number of cameras and the detection workload you need — not just idle operation.
Local storage
Enough capacity for the recording retention window you want, sized to your cameras' resolution and count.
Network & power
A wired connection and a stable location to run continuously. Wi-Fi-only or intermittently-powered locations are usually not suitable.

If your existing hardware doesn't clear the bar, we'll say so plainly during the assessment — and the Sentinelle Appliance remains the fallback, sized to what your property actually needs.

Not sure which path fits your property?

The Audit & Design session determines the right option for your property — and its cost is deducted from the final project if you proceed.
